The Timpson Training Unit is a patented, self-contained system that allows utilities and training centers to safely energize their existing deenergized yards. Designed by linemen for linemen, it replicates true primary voltage and three-phase power, giving trainees the realism they need, without the risk.

Inside each unit, advanced sensing and protection technology monitor every circuit. If a trainee makes contact or causes a short, the Timpson Unit automatically deenergizes in under 60 milliseconds, reducing current to just 1.5 milliamps. Training continues safely, with instant feedback and zero damage to equipment.
